Belle & Sebastian's single, Jonathan David, is here!

Why is this record so important to me? While I was attending Tulane, I worked at their campus radio station, WTUL, and this single was a 'merit' run. A merit is something new, a song that should be on heavier rotation. I kinda cheated the system though; Jonathan David was the merit, but I always played one of it's B-sides, The Loneliness of the Middle Distance Runner. I played the song I loved and got my merit points.

And for the past six years, I've been whistling this tune to myself. Usually absent-mindedly.
