Adding to the Arsenal.

1961 Canonet 19.

I'm taking it out this afternoon to shoot a test roll on my lunch break. It's clean, functions well, and I got it for cheap!

More information on Canon Rangefinders can be found here. They're a good, all around camera-- although this one weighs a ton and a half.

I also recently acquired a Polaroid SX-70 Model 3-- and broke it within 3 hours of having it. Because I'm a genius.

This is a weird introduction but I know you (sort of) through Aaron Snitzer who showed me your blog a while back. Also, apparently we were in the same Melville class (according to Aaron, who I met in another class) but I've pretty much blocked that class from my memory so I can't speak to that.

ANYWHO, I've been silently lurking and noticed you're into photography. I've recently got into it, albeit with the world's crappiest cameras: a Canon P&S and a Holga, which I'm enjoying exploring its quirks. Any tips for a beginner? Also, where do you buy your used film cameras? I'd like to practice on film but don't really want some fancy new thing.

This is all just to say I enjoy your blog and your pictures.
